OVERVIEW:

Cave of Vali is located near the village of Val, about 1000 m above sea level. It consists of a karstic cave formed at the intersection of tectonic fractures in limestones. It is 250 meters long, up to 35 m wide and 25 m high. The entrance to the cave is at the foot of the slope and the Biza brook is lost. The waters follow the eastern direction and emerge in the form of a fountain in the Mat River valley.
