Itinerary

Day 1 Corfu - Saranda
Welcome to Saranda pier and meet our representatives. Depart for Saranda the hillside town facing the sea, famous for its magnificent Butrinti archeological site. Today experience an included excursion to Butrinti Visit: The Temple of Aesculapius – the ancient Greek god of medicine temple. The Baptistery – the second largest building of this type in the Byzantine Empire. The Theatre – one of its most notable monuments. Roman portico and baths- the most magnificent part of the ancient city. Christian Baptistery- the beautiful mosaic floor of the ancient Christian baptistery. Byzantine Basilica- the favorite piece of history in Butrinti National Park. Nymph- a fountain built for the water nymphs in form of a temple with apses. Defense Wall- demonstrates the importance of the place in times past. The Acropolis- the highest part of the hill inside the site. Accommodation in Saranda.
Day 2 Blue Eyes - Gjirokastra
After breakfast continue the visit to Gjirokastra known as Stone City with old houses lean against the slopes of the hills with their beautiful old wooden facades. Stop to visit the Blu Eyes spring – formed by underground springs. Arrival in Gjirokastra. Visit the Castle, old town and Ethnographic Museum. Accommodation in Gjirokastra.
Day 3 Gjirokastra - Permet - Korca
In the morning drive to Permet City, known as City of Roses. Sightseeing tour in Permet city, continue at Benje (Langarica) thermal baths for 02:00 hours. Continue to Korca city. A brief sightseeing tour to Korca – Albanianís Intellectual center and a town with a proud cultural heritage. Visit the Archaeological Museum housed in a lovely wooden Ottoman house. The Museum of Medieval Art (seeing paintings and icons made by famous local artists). Visit the architecturally important 15th century Mirahorit Mosque and the Old Bazaar. Accommodation in Korca.
Day 4 Korca - Ohrid
Morning departure to visit Pogradec – on the Roman via Egnatia route to the east. Drive through Elbasan (ancient Scampa) to visit the ruins of the ottoman fortress in the city center and the St. Mary Orthodox Church, and continue to Pogradec. Arrive at Lake Ohrid – the oldest and deepest lake in Europe. It is the home to a number of fish and birds found nowhere else in the world. Continue visit St. Naum Monastery, another breathtaking Scenery and atmosphere. Visit St Naum Monastery and depart to Ohrid city. Accommodation in Ohrid.
Day 5 Ohrid - Berat
In the morning places to be visit: Lake Ohrid St. Sofija church Robevci house – museum Antic Theater St. Bogorodica Perivleptos church Gallery of Icons Upper Gate Samoil’s fortress St. Clement – Plaosnik church, the old bazaar – Charsija the 500 years old “Chinar”. Continue up to Samoil’s fortress and on the most picturesque cliff of St. Jovan Kaneo, where you can grab the chance for a magnificent photo shoots. Continue to Elbasan – to visit the ruins of the ottoman fortress in the city center and the St. Mary Orthodox Church. Driving to Berat. Accommodation in Berat.
Day 6 Berat - Tirana
A morning tour of marvelous city of Berat -one of the most fascinating Albanian towns with a mixture of cultural influences. Visit the pride and magnificent Castle of Berat ancient castle with continuity of daily life inside her ancient walls! Visit to Onuphri Icon Museum – the most representative monument of post Byzantine architecture in Berat town. Accommodation in Tirana.
Day 7 Tirana
Your morning city tour begins from Skanderbeg Square dedicated to Albanianís national hero and pedestrian space of Nowadays. The Clock Tower symbol of capital, which stroke every full hour. The Et’hem Bey Mosque one of the oldest buildings left in the city. National Museum- the largest museum in Albania contained a well-documented history of our country. The Palace of Culture – which houses the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Bunk Art2 – the story of the communist regime. This afternoon is free for you to explore Tirana lovely shops and boutiques. Accommodation in Tirana.
Day 8 Kruja - Shkoder
Today you will see examples of an age of unbounded creativity. Continue to Kruja the great view of majestic landscape and a rich collection of historical and cultural artifacts. Traditional lunch at local restaurant in the fortress of Kruja. After the lunch start the visit to: The Castle – one of the most important defensive fortress of Albanians identity. Skanderbeg Museum – a national treasure, devoted to the most important Albanian heroes. Ethnographic Museum – presents traditions throughout centuries. After the visit of the castle, is free for you to explore Kruja’s old bazaar with authentic and antique shops. Continue to Shkodra. Accommodation in Shkodra.
Day 9 Shkoder - St Stefan - Kotor - Budva
In the morning departure to visit Montenegro. A short sightseeing tour in Kotor the old and very spectacular city. After the visit in Kotor, departure to visit Budva – the metropolis of Montenegrin tourism. Accommodation in Budva city.
Day 10 Budva - Durres
The route continues to Durres the ancient Greco-Roman port city of Dyrrachium. Visit the town including the Byzantine city walls. Roman amphitheater pearl of the Balkans, the second biggest amphitheater which Romans built in the Balkans peninsula. Archaeological Museum the richest archaeological museum with collection of historical artifacts. Accommodation in Durres.
Day 11 Budva - Apollonia - Vlore
Our tour will continue to Archeological Park of Apollonia – an ancient Greek colony city and former bishopric in Illyria. After the visit to Apollonia proceed to Ardenica where is a medieval monastery surrounded by stonewalls. Here you will admire Marry Church and Saint Triadha Chapel. After the visit to Apollonia continue to Vlora an historical and coastal city. Dinner in Vlora.
Day 12 Vlore - Dhermi - Himara - Saranda
After breakfast drive up to Albanian Riviera. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ionian coast beaches lapped by crystalline waters. Drive along traditional stone villages as Borsh, Himara and stop for a delicious seafood lunch in any of our coastal villages. On the way from Saranda a short visit to the bay of Porto Palermo where the castle of Ali Pasha is situated. Depart for Saranda the hillside town facing the sea, famous for its magnificent Butrinti archeological site. Dinner in Saranda.
Day 13 Saranda - Corfu
After the breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Saranda pier for your return flight home.
