This morning depart to Gjirokastra known as “Stone City” with old houses lean against the slopes of the hills with their beautiful old wooden facades. En route making a stop to a local restaurant in Permet known as “City of Roses”. Benja Thermal water springs is an attractive place near Permet to visit. (Optional) After lunch continue to Gjirokastra city where the habitat houses have the form of medieval towers constituting a building ensemble with a characteristic architecture. Today you will travel to the pearl of the Albanian Riviera, Saranda the hillside town facing the sea, where you’ll find yourself at the tail end of one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in the whole Ionian Sea. Visit the magical “Blue Eye” spring, formed by underground springs and the unusual church of St. Nicholas at Mesopotam with its fine carvings of mythological beasts.
