Itinerary

Day 1 Tirana - Shkoder
Welcome to Tirana- our metropolitan capital. Arrival at “Mother Teresa Airport”. Your tour begins with visit to Skanderbeg’s tomb in the town of Lezhe. Then continue to the Mosque of Plumbit and Visit the castle of Rozafa – the impressive legend of the castle, archaeological area reach of history make your visit unforgettable. Lunch at local restaurant in Shkodra (On their own) Accommodation in Shkodra.
Day 2 Shkoder - Theth
After breakfast we drive through beautiful countryside National Park of Theth. We then stop at Qafë Thore, a mountain pass that offers spectacular views of the Theth Valley. On arrival in Theth we will spend the day in and around the area of Theth enjoying the charm of the village known for its stunning nature and traditional wooden-tiled houses. You can walk and visit the attraction near the village. After either a 30-minute off-road drive visit the magical Blue Eye spring, formed by underground springs. After some time at the Blue eye, we visit the waterfall of Theth. In the later afternoon drive back to Shkodra. Accommodation in Shkodra
Day 3 Shkoder - Kosovo - Gjakova
In the morning departure to take the Koman Lake ferry. A spectacular boat trip through the artificial lake created by the hydropower stations built on Drin River. The depth of the lake has given it an opal green colour while the surrounding mountains have created the magnificent effect of a fjord. The National Park of Valbona valley is situated 30 kilometres north-west of the town of Bajram Curri. It has a surface of about 8,000 hectares. This park is considered a miracle of the Albanian Alps offering an amazing diversity in shapes, forms, colours, flora and fauna. The forests and pastures, the rivers and alpine lakes, the miscellaneous flowers, the characteristic houses and the hospitality of the inhabitants altogether create a unique place which can be explored on different levels. Depart to Gjakova. Gjakova is characterized with two main Catholic Churches, which are part of the cultural heritage. The Saint Paul and Saint Peter Church is one of the tallest monuments in Gjakova, which can be seen from different points of the town. Gjakova is famous for having the longest bazaar in the Balkans (Çarshia Madhe), and it served as an Ottoman trading centre and heart of the town economy. We continue with Ethnographic museum situated in the “Citizen Traditional House”, a house with the most interesting characteristics in the city. Accommodation in Gjakova.
Day 4 Gjakova - Pristine - Prizren - Gjakova
After breakfast we will start our tour with the visit of Pristina city – the center of cultural and artistic development of all Albanians that live in Kosovo. The most interesting monuments of the city are the monument of the national hero “Zahir Pajaziti”, Statue of Skenderbeg, Statue of Mother Theresa, National Library of Kosovo, Catholic Cathedral of Mother Theresa, New Born statue. We continue with the Prizren – Kosovo’s second city with charming mosque and church. The old part of the town – Shadervan, old Stone Bridge, Sinan Pasha Mosque, Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox Monastery – Lady of Levis, Albanian League of Prizren (the most famous and visited historical museum), Castle of Prizren, In the later afternoon drive back to Gjakova. Accommodation in Gjakova.
Day 5 Gjakova - Kukes - Kruje - Tirana
In the morning depart at Kukes City we will take a short coffee-break in the city of Kukes, known as the city of HOSPITALITY as they received around 1 million ALBANIANS from Kosovo during the war in 1999. Continue with the visit to Kruja– hometown of Albanian’s National Hero rich in tradition and history. Start the visit to: The Castle – the most important defensive fortress of Albanians identity. Skanderbeg Museum – a national treasure, devoted to the most important Albanian heroes. Ethnographic Museum – presents traditions throughout centuries. After the visit of the castle, is free for you to explore Kruja’s old bazaar with authentic and antique shops. Lunch at local restaurant in the fortress (On their own) In the later afternoon drive back to Tirana City. Accommodation in Tirana.
Day 6 Tirana - Berat - Tirana
A morning tour of marvelous city of Berat – known as “the city of thousand windows”. Visit the pride and magnificent Castle of Berat – ancient castle with continuity of daily life inside her ancient walls! Visit to Onuphri Icon Museum – that contains some of the finest examples of his work as well as other outstanding Albanian artists. After the visit continue at “Cobo Winery” for the tasting tour. Tasting authentic Albanian wine accompanied with traditional lighter appetizers in one of the most well-known wineries in Berat city. In the later afternoon drive back to Tirana. Day 7 Tirana
Taking a rest and start a walking tour with the visit of: Skanderbeg Square – dedicated to Albanian’s national hero and pedestrian space of Nowadays, The Clock Tower – symbol of capital, which stroke every full hour. The Et’hem Bey Mosque – one of the oldest buildings left in the city. National Museum- the largest museum in Albania contained a well – documented history of our country. The Palace of Culture – which houses the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Bunk Art2 – the story of the communist regime. Accommodation in Tirana.
Day 8 Tirana - Airport
Transfer to “Mother Teresa” airport for your return flight home.
